At Thermotrack Webserve, data security is more than a priority — it’s a commitment. That’s why we’re introducing new password protection features to help you better secure your users’ accounts.
✅ Stronger Password Requirements
Administrators can now enforce password rules that require users to create more secure credentials. The new policy includes:
- Minimum of 12 characters
- At least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
These criteria significantly increase protection against unauthorized access, aligning with best practices for high-sensitivity environments like laboratories, pharmaceutical storage, and food safety.
🔄 Enforce Regular Password Updates
In addition to stronger passwords, you can now enable password expiration policies. This feature lets administrators set a custom interval — for example, every 30, 60, or 90 days — to require users to update their passwords regularly, keeping access even more secure over time.
⚙️ How to Activate These Settings
Configuration is simple:
- Log in as an administrator
- Go to Advanced Settings
- Enable the “Strong Password” and “Password Expiration” options
These settings will apply automatically to all users, whether new or existing.
